our first trip to Tanzania was in 2016
we arrived In Tanzania on July 21 and left on August 2 2019
went to Ngorongoro Crater Serena Lodge then Lemala Ewanjan tented camp in the Serengeti and then Rufiji River Camp tented camp in the Selous Game Reserve
this time we concentrated on what we really wanted and hoped to see if we could:
Black Rhino
saw one in the Crater and one in the Serengeti
Leopards closer than before
Saw 5, including a mother and one cub, all in the Serengeti
Cheetahs.
Quite a number, 7 in one day including a mother and two cubs feeding on a thomson gazelle and 4 brothers feeding on another thomson and two others on another day - all in the Serengeti
African Painted Dogs
Quite a number, including greeting ceremony between two groups, sounds of the dogs and them running all in the Selous Game Reserve
plus more including some surprises:
baby elephant chasing lion cubs
baby baboons riding on the bellies and the backs of the mothers
