A wearable monopod

Not too sure about this. You can get one now from Amazon for $129.99.

Seems neat. But redundant for me - my little Manfrotto monopod is small enough to fit in the inside pocket of my jacket or vest, which qualifies it as 'wearable'.

Plus I sometimes use it poking out of a bottom pocket of my vest, or propped up on a knee, making it a function almost like the Steadify.

I have a carbon monopod. I also have a monopod belt pouch. Here's an example but I have a generic no name cheap one.

If you spend just a second considering the sort of shadow you'd cast you'd never belt one on.
I think the Steadify will end up being fast tracked into one of those Chindogu coffee table books.

In the past there was a product called a chest pod - just some sticks and a small harness behind the neck - and there’s this from Novoflex - ChestPod. Sort of like the flag harness for Color Guard presenters, but at chest height.

FWIW, most of the time I use a monopod except for snapshots.

Have/Had a Chest Pod. Ya can't breath while composing and shooting. Kind of a down side.

I typically use a monopod with the DA* 60-250. The Vanguard VEO AM-264-TR fits nicely in the Think Tank Perception Pro with the folding feet upwards. I'd take stable ground over anything self-supported.
