Any plans for full frame soon?

Today marked the first year I started shooting actively and for the past few months I've been earning money doing it, and kept investing in better lenses and finally studio equipment.

There comes a time where upgrading your body is required. My K10D has small issues. Not as far as IQ is concerned, since My K10D+77mm render kickass images. But the slow AF, the bad high ISO performance, the slightly slower than competition sync speed are all little things that annoy me, and the K20D isn't major improvement.

I would never part with my Pentax. My 77mm and Voigtländer 125mm APO are so fantastic that I would keep it as a backup body even if I went to the competition. But before considering a 5D or a D300, I want to know if Pentax has any plans for a pro SLR any time soon (in the next 6 months).

Upgrading to either a 5D or D300 means a 4500$ investment for body, accessories and 1-2 good lenses. Lenses I would probably sell if I did go over would include a 50mm FA f/1.4, a Tamron 28-75mm, a DA* 12-24mm, keeping my 77mm Ltd and Voigtländer as backup and adding a 50-135mm in the mix. Keeping the K10D for the Voïtlander alone would be worth it in my book...

In any case, is there such plan we don't know know about?

well there was a lot of rumors of ff 645, ff k mount or pro apsc and with most of those rumors said we would see one of the above at photokina (ie now), as it hasn't happened it's pretty much anyones guess as to when and if any of the 3 will be released.

while there isn't a big difference between k10 and k20, the price difference / changeover cost is now pretty small too (esp compared to starting another system), IMHO and for me k20 1-2 stops better for noise / iso performance, worth the couple of hundred it cost to change.

Forget it for the 645D, even if it came I think it would be too late anyway...
For the near future I don't see any FF on the horizon.
The upgraded K30D or pro aps-c body should come next year and will probably be announced at PMA'09.
