We have days here when the "Blue Hour" seems to last most of the day due to some of our inclement conditions.
That's a very good point, in the winter morning blue hour shots are easy, in summer not so much depending on the location some have to wake up very early. In summer time, evening blue hour is easy as it can be part of the after-work relaxing session.

The first one is a winner. Very nice mix of yellow from the horizon and blue from other areas of the landscape.

Definitely one of my favourite images, and one that makes full use of the dynamic rage of the K-1 and it's ability to produce accurate realistic looking colour even in the shadow detail that was boosted in posts processing.

It always comes up for consideration when we are picking out our two or three images to print each year.

Not so keen on the middle abstract one then?... it's done quite well for me as a background for various things.

Me... I just thought it was a bit "arty farty" like.

The artist may write a title ("Abstract"), note below the print to show you intend, and sign.

Bryce canyon at sunset. It was darker in real life. The clouds looked like that. I kept thinking how they looked like 8 bit banding.

This was my first (and probably only) attempt at a photo during blue hour. It was to fullfil the criteria of a weekly 52 challenge.

Speed Kills
by Philip Veater, on Flickr

I did have fun taking photos on a camera mounted on a tripod at the side of the road where a speed sign was located. I saw LOTS of brake lights that day!
