Mike Muizebelt Light Painting with K-1 and D-FA 15-30 f/2.8

Came across this blog article about one photographer's light painting technique and noted that he is using a Pentax system. "Personally, I use the Pentax K-1 with a Pentax 15-30 f/2.8 for the majority of my images. Late at night when I want to incorporate stars I often work with an open aperture and ISO 6400. This combination handles that perfectly."

Some truly stunning images! Read/see more here...

Also peeped his Instagram here...

Great images, interesting technique. Can't wait for warmer weather to get outside and blend lightpainting and starry nights again. Until then I practice indoors.

Great photos! What an interesting way of thinking composition and form.... really inspiring. The color is nicely saturated and I like the contradiction with the background.
