Help, funny mark on images

Gday everyone,
I have just noticed a funny mark starting to appear and it looks like dirt or lint or ??? Could anybody shed a bit of light on this problem. The mark is in front of the bird.

I'm pretty sure it's dust on the sensor. I'd try using the Dust removal function on you camera if it supports it. If that doesn't work (and it probably won't) go into the sensor cleaning mode and use one of the bulb blowers (like the giottos rocket) to blow it off.

It probably is dust but it looks like an out of focus or motion blurred bird way off in the distance,

Does it appear on other pictures?

This is a worm in the sky. The bird is trying to catch it. But it flies way to fast.

Cleaning the sensor will do, too...

Yep,It's on all the pictures. So I guess it must be dirt ,thanks for the info.I will try to clean it off. Still working on manual focus for birds as you can see I still haven't got it yet, maybe in the next couple of days.

Just be careful when you do this. DO NOT USE YOUR FINGER to wipe it away. The blower should hopefully get it out of there. good luck

If for some reason the blower doesn't work and the dust is still there (which happened to me recently), do a lot of research before touching the sensor or using any chemical on it. There are downsides to using nearly anything on it such as water, alcohol, windex, lens cleaning solution, etc.

I bought this kit with Eclipse cleaning solution (Photographic Solutions, Inc. - Digital & Photographic Cleaning Solutions) and it worked great for me on my K100D.
