A mistake...RIGHT?

Okay. I just flicked on the computer after watching a Dirty Harry movie. Yeah, I know... it is an indulgement

I received an email from one of my main camera equipment suppliers telling me my long standing order was just shipped. They enclosed the order number and a copy of the invoice.

Now, I have two long standing orders with them

Here's the kicker....the one they claim to have filled and sent is the one with the two new DA* zooms. Huh? I thought they delayed shipment and distribution from March 15 to May 15. If in fact it is the new DA* zooms I think I'll be posting some pictures on the forum soon. If they made a mistake, which I am going to assume they have and switched invoices, I will simply be getting the 540 flash.

I'm hoping I'm wrong. Don't all of you? That would mean there will be a lot more happy campers soon.

Okay.....we can all calm down...no lenses are coming. I double checked a second invoice from today and it was a corrected invoice for the flash with apologies for the error.

Well, I thought they had made a mistake...turns out I was right. There is not much happiness in my being right on this one.

My apologies if my OP stirred up peoples hopes (like mine).

Oh well Stephen, you know what they say about "if it looks too good to be true"...
But yeah, when I read your first post I was hoping! I can't afford either lens, but I'm REAL interested in the 16-50.
