Bruce, my family's thoughts and prayers are with you, and we all wish her (and you), a speedy recovery. My wife had back surgery 12/9/08, and the last thing I said to her as they wheeled her out was "you better damn well come back to me". She did, and I know your wife will soon be back with you.

Bruce, well done for staying strong for her.
A lot of people here are thinking and praying for her.
I too will add myself to that number.
Hope things come back to normal soon.

Bruce

I'm new at this forum, but I wanted to tell you that you and your wife are in my thoughts.

(A month ago my oldest 5 year old son was badly on hospital so I know how terrible it's. It changed my perspectives.)

Hang in there. Get your strenght from family and friends and channel it to her.
Live every day at the most with her, during and after recovering.

Loved ones are the precious thing we have in life.

Wow Bruce that sucks. Good to hear the prognosis is good though. Hope she's an"Aussie battler" and pulls through okay.

As others have said, we wish her a speedy recovery. My grandfather had a similar issue years past, and nothing was ever found. He continued to be healthy and showed no signs of issues. Hope the same for you.

Hello one and all.You can understand my delay in reply. All I can say is, what an incredibly thoughtful family this Forum has brought together.
I cant thank you enough for your thoughts, prayers and best wishes.

I am pleased to report the prognosis is good. What the neurologist has diagnosed is a temporary thing, and he is confident everything will be fine, but many tests yet to be done. .
My wife is now home but has a total 2 day gap. She couldn't even recall anything she had done just 10 minutes earlier. She turned into a totally different personality. Very frightening.

Things have improved immeasurably, but a total rethink on our lifestyle is top priority.

Thanks again one and all
