It is scary Bruce and we'll all wish her continued improvement with no recurring issues. Best of luck and continued speedy recovery.

Hi Bruce,

I have just caught up with this thread this minute.

Ditto to all the best wishes previously expressed. A frightening experience for you all.

I note your last message and the personality change.

Be strong mate, these things can take awhile to correct themselves.
While I am not a religious person, I can still muster up a prayer for you both.

Grant.

Our thoughts and prayers to you as well. We kind of know what you are going through. My mother had a "mini" stroke on Christmas Eve while we were opening gifts. Came out of the blue. Thankfully there was no damage and she appears to be normal, albiet a bit frustrated from all the tests and such. Scared the dickens out of us!

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers! Take care!

My heartfelt thanks to each and everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
Tests have proved very good for Pam's prognosis, and Neurologists think that everything will be 100%, given a little time.
We are seriously talking a slowing down and a bit of a lifestyle change forthwith.
Thats good, provided the camera is to the fore, nevertheless I think no photography, and I would be the one in treatment

Bruce,
a very happy and healthy new year to you and your wife. I have just experienced a similar thing, a neighbors' 10 year old daughter caught Meningitis. She could not speak anymore and things did not look so good. Now, for 10 days in hospital, things look bright again and she'll fully recover. Incredible relief.
Fingers crossed,
Georg (the other)

Thanks, Georg , and a very prosperous and healthy New Year to you and yours.
It is particularly distressing to see such happen one so young, with a whole life of growing up to do.
Good to hear that she has a good prognosis.
My wife is doing well and getting better each day........ thankfully.
