These are the best I've done... I don't think I am able to stay very still. Thank goodness for SR!

This was taken with the K100D and kit lens shortly after it came out. 1.5 seconds handheld.

yeah, even the people stayed still!

From all that are posted, I think if you're in doubt, just go for it, it just might work out!

Hello,

My contribution, hand held with SR on ...

At first with an FA-43 ...

Then, with an A 50/1.7 ...

And last, with the FA-43 again ...

Definitively, 1/4" seems to be my best with SR, up to now i have tried 0.3" but no success ...

Best regards

The weather was nice for a while around here. When it is good sometimes you just have to get out a take what photos you can. I usually don’t try to take photos just to see how slow I can handhold but when I looked I was slower then I thought I could go. Not ¼ but 1/15 on a 135mm is not bad. I did take some slower photos that day but they were with a tripod.

SMC 400 hand held

here's my best handheld:
first the data:
K100D
SMC 400/5.6 @ f8
1/80 sec
ISO 400
SR - I thought it was on, but looking at the exif in Pentax photo browser it only shows: ---- (maybe K100D doesn't record data if non A lens is on)
it took some sharpening to be honest
here's the shot:

and 100% crop

Taken today

Here is one with a SuperTak 135mm f3.5 @ 1/8 sec. I can never understand why many critics of sensor based SR systems fail to get more than "1-2 stops." Here is four.
