And I'm telling the world!!! I had four images published in a professional journal, largely because of who I know, not because I'm so good. But it's still kind of cool to see your work in print.

I have had stuff printed before in promotional materials but the difference here is that this time I got an actual photo credit for a change.

Just had a brag a wee.

No need to worry about getting noticed because of who you know. Those on an active upward and successul course are those that network with others. Can't get ahead unless you get out there! Congrats!

Hell I'd take that over no publishing any day. Congratulations! I'm sure whatever pictures were selected really deserved to be there.

It doesn't matter who you know, if the pictures are crap, they won't get published.

Wow thanks everyone! I took a picture of the first page of the article as that's the most important one imho, as it has my credit under the photo on that page. My scanner doesn't play nicely with my new computer so I had to do it this way. Forgive the poor quality. The images were in color and they printed bw. I was a bit bummed that I wasn't informed that they would be bw as I would have done the conversions myself. I think the contrast needed to bumped up a bit for the bw versions as opposed to the color ones. There's four images total in the article.

Like I said, they aren't great. They were taken to illustrate the article. But here's page one of the article and my credit.

So thanks again everyone. Even if it was a "who I know" thing, it's still kinda neat to see my name in print.
