Macro/ring flash/K20d What settings?

Just acquired this camera to use with existing Sigma dg105macro and a Yuzo 14RDXII auto macro flash. I need close details 1:1 through to 10:1 (faces). I use to used a Pentax *ist with the fl ash on "ttl", ASA 100. The camera was set on "Av" and Tv at 125 and F stop of 22 camera iso at "400" but this one has more features that I haven't figured out yet. Can anyone guide me on the proper settings and adjustments?

If I was in your shoes, I'd try what worked on your "old" camera. Physics don't change when you change camera, so what works on one should work on the other.

Except that the K20d doesn't have a ttl setting for flash.

You can use your flash in the auto mode and experiment with exposure compensation etc. to figure out the best settings. The K20d doesn't have a ttl flash mode like the * ist did.
