Maybe the two made a bet on who could raise enough cash through various means, and this is his way of cheating?

Quite an unusual way to market the lens on eBay, but hey, whatever works...
Sounds like the wife screwed up the taxes on purpose, at a colossal scale, to get back at her cheating husband...

Am I the only one here who thinks he just might have screwed up the taxes himself, placing the blame on his wife instead to hide his own mistake?

Regardless, the "cheating husband lens" comment probably means the lens can be used to photograph those in the distance unaware of the camera, such as secretly photographing a cheating husband - apparently, from this comment alone, a modern male (fully in touch with his feminist side) slightly biased towards the notion only husbands can cheat.

If their math skills are on a par with their language skills, it is no great surprise that their taxes are screwed up.
