Here is their main website page: http://www.tripodhead.com

Summary:
"Wimberley is a father-son partnership dedicated to the design and manufacture of professional photography equipment. We make tripod heads for large telephoto lenses, macro accessories, Modular Flash Brackets, Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamps & plates, and more..."

I am relatively new to this information, so I will do my best as to what I am allowed to disclose: the Wimberly Professional Service membership is offered to photographers that fit certain criteria for Wimberley. I don't believe they advertise benefit, since (AFAIK) they invite the photographers into their program. You are given additional benefits over the standard ones for regular customers, plus many more things. For example, they allow you to test out new/used equipment for longer periods, etc. at no charge. That is only a small part of the Professional Service membership. They tend to supply equipment for photographers that tend to do more nature/outdoor related photography, but it is not exclusive to that group. The quality of their products (in my experience so far) is excellent, no question.

Hope that helps?

Regards,
Marc

Congrats Marc! couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I find it interesting that Wimberly is mostly a tripod accessory/light bracket company. A 'rock steady' company for a rock steady member who brings the light of his knowledge to these forums. A worthy honor for a worthy guy

Here is the link they've put up to my website:
Wimberley Professional Photo Gear - Our Customers

What they do is extend the benefits over regular customers by a significant margin - they've been a nice surprise, no question!

Their loaner program is awesome - much better than regular retail customers. They've sent me some freebies too, some which I can keep, others to give out at workshops or classes. Note: in general, I still must pay if I wish to keep an expensive item, which is typical of many corporate sponsorships. However, it's much, much less than retail - no complaints...

Hey Marc,

Many congrats. Can you please send me your autographed portrait? I know you are on the road to big time stardom soon.

When that happens, I want to sell your autographed photo for a premium to a true Pentaxian to raise fund for my LBA

Many many congrats. You inspire us.
