Where should I buy the 16 50

I am looking at getting the 16 50 and selling my Tamron 28-75 and 17 -35 to finance the purchase.

I was wondering what online vendor would be the best bet to buy from that is easy to deal with in terms of getting assistance if the lens is a bad copy. I have looked at Amazon, B&H, Adorama and the price seems similar so I think that is not a concern.

I have looked around locally and there is only one place that can carry it and the price is almost 200 dollars more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the marketplace on this site is a place i highly recommend.

have bought lenses at significantly below any online retailers price. granted, the lenses are used, but generally in like new condition for newer ones especially like the da/da*

You will have to read each vendor's short-term return policy.

i missed your point about returns, obviously, the marketplace sellers are final sale, but are generally an honest bunch, and in some cases, you might still be in lucky warranty wise.

I get the marketplace lead, however i have read the reviews that i might get a good or bad 16 50. I do not want to get stuck with a lemon.

When I was looking for one, I kept an eye on Amazon's price. For some reason, they will drop the price on a big ticket item for an hour or so sometimes. It won't be advertised. It will simply drop for a little while. I checked on the price one morning, and noticed that it had dropped ten dollars. I kept refreshing, and they dropped it another ten dollars every few minutes. I finally picked mine up at a discount of fifty dollars. Within a few minutes, it had gone back up to the previous price. I am not saying they will do it again, but if you have the time to wait, it might save you some money.
