I've submitted 8 photos to the Pentax Photo Gallery, gone through the process of naming, etc and each photo is set to 'Ready for Review'. They've been this way for at least 10 days.

If you've had images approved or rejected, how long did it take?

Mine have been in there for about a day and I'm wondering the same thing...

It doesn't really matter, though, since the gallery hasn't even gone live yet!

Mine have taken from 2 days to 6 days. Hope that helps.

Mine takes about 2 days usually.

Have been a bit slack sending shots in though ... (Maybe this is easter holiday period - people tend to cut it a bit of slack)

Mine took about a week to be approved. I just wish they would tell you why the rejected ones were rejected. Several that were rejected were, in my opinion, superior to some of the accepted ones.

the last few I submitted have been there for 5 or 6 days now. The first and second batch each took around 3 days for them to "get to".

Mike: like your sig - right, shake reduction, who needs it?

I can't even log in there, after going through the naming, comments, etc...

Are you getting an error message of any kind. I havn't had any problems logging in...

I have noticed that the approval time has been taking longer . . . probably due to more submittals.

When I could not get on the site, I got a message about "high usage" or "maint" as the reason . . . happens on many sites . . . got back in a few minutes ago . . . do not think that this is a problem.

I wanted to mention that 2 of my photos have been approved, a few rejected, two waiting for approval.

Just approved a couple more of mine . . . took 9 days . . . longest turnaround since I have been submitting.

Congrats to all! Do they get made if you upload a set of 10, name them, then upload 10 more? Just wondering...

It seems to kind of run like musical chairs . . . when they get to you they will review whatever you have in the queue . . . could be one shot or 50 . . . the ten limit is just per upload sequence.

Also, as an fyi, it appears they have a new status . . . "on hold" . . . when I inquired I was advised that it meant the reviewer wanted a second opinion . . .

Submit a few . . . nothing ventured nothing gained . . .
