Which WB setting for moon shot

Which is the best WB setting for taking a Moon shot ?

Lens is a 350 Tamron constant F4.5, with SP BBAR MC Flat Field 2X TC , so it'll do 700mm @ F8

On my DS I use daylight. You are shooting reflected sunlight.

Nice shot by the way. The southern highlands are very sharp.

Go for a 200mm X 1200mm scope. With a 2X barlow added, you can only image about 1/3 of the moon at a time.

I've no idea how 200x1200 relates in real life and i havent a clue what a Barlow is, but it all sounds expensive

8" aperture and 1200mm focal length. The barlow is an add on to double the focal length.

So with the barlow, you would have a 8" aperture at 2400mm focal length. The F-stop would be F12.

Not quite, to capture the cheese you need a 400mm (16 inch diameter) scope. Alas I only have a 200mm diameter f10 telescope. With a 3x Barlow I photograph the Moon and Planets at 6000mm Focal Length. With just a $160 web cam I have images of features that are 500 meters wide at a distance of 386,000 kilometers.

Speaking of yellow, the Moon does have some subtle color and so I would not use monochrome. I read an article about those who push up the saturation to find large blue and yellow areas on the Moon plus a bright yellow spot. This is not "false color" but emphasized color.

I just found this one on the net:

Moon - high saturation: Photo by Photographer Peter Dove - photo.net

Squier:

That is a very good Moon shot especially for someone starting out.
