So...someone has a K20D and a K2000...and they want a K-7, and must sell one.

Which would you sell: the K20D or the K2000?

the K2000, no question.. to upgrade is to upgrade.. and why cut the middle step off rather than the "lowest" grade.. for me this would be a "no brainer"

I heard from the guy at the camera store, he has a brother that sells for Pentax, and they expect that the K-7 will cause a flood on the used K200D/K20D/K10D market.

I wasn't sure to believe him right away, but then I saw an ad on Craigslist, and I think this is the real deal.

People are selling and upgrading! This is just nuts!

I wonder if the specs on a used K20D are the same as the new K20D? Anyone have leaked photos of a used K20D?

Why not sell both? If even half of the rumors are correct about the K7 then I see no reason to keep either a K2000 or K20D. It sounds like the K7 should be able to do anything either of your current cameras can do...and is a similar size.

The K20D is a large camera, not prone to getting lost in your shirt pocket like the new 7D, which is, from what I read, slightly smaller than a Casio. So keep the K20D, you can always locate it when your 7D goes missing.....

I'd sell the k20. It will bring you more money and leave you with a smaller throw around camera to go along with the more pro-like k7.
