Did you ever regret selling a camera?

I sold my K10d for my K20d....which I have sold for a K-7. I still have my ME Super from when I was a kid and I would be crushed to let that camera go after all of the memories. I'm wondering if I should have kept the K10d as for it's time it was monumental? I just picked up a "K" camera which was monumental for Pentax....so is the K-7 from my guess. Should have kept the K10d?

My K100d - introduced me to photography as I know it - my K20D arrives on Monday - I know I should sell the K100D to fund a 'real' portrait lens or whatnot...but I don't know If I can bring myself to.

Don't think I've ever actually *sold* a camera that I'd regret. I've sometimes wished I'd kept a Canonet G-III for myself from when they were common and cheap in about perfect shape. I used to fix things up and give em away.

Does make me wonder if digitals will ever really be collectible, in that you can't just put the current film in them and get the same or similar results as the current models.

Never sold a camera that I myself have purchased. Gave a lot of them away, lost several
Cannot ever remember of any being stolen. Actually I did trade one Cannon S3IS P&S in on my K100D that is the reason I still have 2 p&s plus 5 DSLR's Pentax of course. jim

I've never sold a camera in my life... they are too precious to me

But I have given a few away to introduce people to photography.

My KX

I definitely miss this all manual, no batteries required except for the meter needle, shutter and aperture in the viewfinder, two ton tank. I have no camera left that will work without batteries, except my Minolta 16 - and film is hard to come by.

My Exacta 66.
That was about 50 years ago and I still regret having sold it.
It was a remarkable camera then and would still be so today.

When I was in high school (also 50 years ago) I traded a Voightlander Vitessa (L model I think) towards a Practica SLR. In retrospect, it was like trading a finely machined tool in for one that had been stamped out. I wanted the Practica because it was the "new thing" and you could change lenses, which of course, I never did. The Practica got trashed during college and my next camera (about 4 or 5 years later) was a Spotmatic. I still have every camera that I've bought since then, including the Spotmatic. I wish that I still had the Vitessa; it was a great little machine. I'll never give up another camera unless it turns out to be a piece of junk.

I'll take it!

I have never sold a camera. I gave a Yashica Minister D away to a friend who was moving cross country. He was into photography but had never moved past PS cameras. I would sell a digital camera without hesitation. I'll never sell one of my film systems. For some reason, they hold sentimental value. Digital cameras hold ones and zeros.

I never regret selling a camera. 'Cause I'll never sell one. Rather give it as a present.

I own one M42 Zenit 122, two foldable 6x5 (extra from what you can read in my signt.)
And one Fujifilm S5600 which will give me constantly good results.
I had the pleasure to repair one Zenit E.
What's the money you can get from selling one?

Anyway the D cameras don't have the same feel the film ones do.
