I just gaffer tape all the logos and model numbers/names on my gear and don't worry about what people think.

I saw an aged man at the national gymnastics tournament. He carried a Pentax camera and I think the DA* 50-135. I couldn't see what model camera it was, but I believe it was not a K20D.

Other brands I saw there were Canon and Nikon.

I live right here in the land where they make 'em.....and I've seen a grand total of four.

Any bloke can buy a camera, it takes someone serious about their craft to carry Pentax.

I was recently went to the Air Museum here at Mirimar MCAS because they had this poor old beaten and weather worn Marine Corp version of a North American Mitchell PBJ sitting outside. I was snapping some B&W pictures with the old film Pentax and didn't see another Pentax the whole afternoon while I wandered around checking out the exhibits. I did get stopped several times by old-timers that enjoyed seeing the old SP1000 still in action though.

I chose pentax for its value but just happen to like being unique. Occasionally I do spot that red pentax neck strap and smile to myself

I was shooting a MTB down hill race and there were a few camers there and I was the only one I could see with a Pentax, my brothers got a Samsung but I know him and I recommended he get the Samsung so he don't count.

I was also in Chester the other week and saw a guy with a Pentex, didn't see the camera but he had a small Pentax camera bag on top of his tripod.
