Long exposures, HDR were the ticket, especially in this environment where the woodwork was utterly fantastic.
I struggled in post processing with green color cast occasioned by the site being on ground floor with extensive lawns outside key windows on a very sunny day. I had originally wanted to shoot at dusk, but that fell through.
White balancing really did not work to neutralize the very, very strong color cast. In truth, it was actually hard to see it with the naked eye.
In retrospect and based on some subsequent reading, the answer there for that time of day could have been some large white tarps placed on the lawns outside the windows where I was shooting.
I was able to remove most of the green cast in PP, but it would have been better to have not had the problem to begin with.
I used a DA 16-45mm. I was not happy with the level of distortion. For $25.00 this is an OUTSTANDING PP plug-in/stand-alone application...

The client is generally happy with the result and has asked me to do another interior shoot.
