Imaging resource lenses for test.

What lenses do they use to test DSLR's.
Looking at one of the still life shots EXIF i found that 40d had a 200mm lens and k200d some 100mm one.

And how come that such camera as 40d delivers much lower detail than k200d:

Take the still life shot ISO100 and have a look at the dark blue napkin.
Or is it just less sharpening and the lack of grain.
But the lack of fine detail seems to get much worse at higher ISO for 40d.

The lack of fine detail is easy: Canon noise reduction aims to keep photos smooth looking by smearing away noise, and detail is lost along with it.

idk about the lenses. Those comparomator images have always seemed a bit sketchy to me, as we don't know all the details of the shoot.
