I love Fashion & Beauty photography. It can be so surrealistic if you allow yourself to do so.

Mostly wildlife and fire scenes for me (that would fall under photojournalism I guess?)

When I was in the Navy, I attempted to take photographs of everything I saw. Whether it was the Straits of Hormuz or the Acropolis. I love just about everything, appreciate alot of studio lighting shots, but prefer natural light more than anything else. Sharp B&W's are always a fave, but I like the gritty street stuff too. Its kinda like music, hard to define one genre that I ONLY listen to. By the way, I associate music with images all the time. Its a curse.

Other....Aerial photography. From the air you can get landscapes, architecture, etc. Pretty cool.

Family outings and vacations hits the spot for me - I try to do as much as possible within the time given, so landscapes/street scenes etc... but however with a 2yr old and another on the way, its nigh on impossible for me to head out specifically with a project in mind, let alone a 5am start for a perfect landscape photo!

Seriously though, as long as i have the K20 in hand and am snapping away, i'm a happy man

Architecture please!

I voted for Architecture, but landscapes are a close second and used to be first until I started having more understanding of architectural photography. I also love food photography! Cindy

Hilarious. I picked "abstract" and it turns out to be the absolute least popular.

But I like cityscapes, macros and many other things too. I even dabble in street photographs, which I generally find to be incomprehensibly uninteresting.

I picked abstract since I like to focus on the little things and turn them into objects of inquiry. Maybe that's technically not abstract, but close enough.

Damn, I can't believe this is still going. I really wish I could edit the poll to include the genre's I had forgotten in my coffee-deprived state.
