"New-Demo???" K20D

Power seller but a little sketchy on the retun policy.. hmm. kind of answering my own question now.

It's "new" as in nobody used it for actually shooting. "Demo" means it's been on their display in the store. Given that not so many sellers push Pentax and not so many buyers are even aware of its existence, I'd say it should be pretty good, better than usual "used" ones.

They claim they're an authorised Pentax dealer. If you're at all concerned, do get in touch with them to see their timely response.

Not a bad price.

My *ist DS was what the retailer called a 'store demo'; sounds like the same thing.
For all intents and purposes it was new and complete and carried a full warranty with one difference.
It was $100 less than 'new in box'.

Shop usage only, reading all about the lack of Pentax equipment in stores, it should be mint, cos never been touched, no one knew it was there.

This is Clearance Center. They are Ritz camera. Ritz is not selling Pentax anymore. This may be new. I got my Pentax DSLR from them. They said demo, but I could not find any signs of use.
Shutter count below 200 (I cant remember exactly). The batteries were still sealed. Everything was as new. Buy it!

If it is a demo unit, it is usually locked-up in a display cabinet on the store somewhere.
If it where Pentax, then might not have probably been handled too much.
If it where Canon or Nikon then, you might be getting one with a lot of fingerprints and nose smudges..hehe

Buy it as it also usually comes with warranty and "like brand new".
