I think that would have been better if the CC company would go after Paypal as from my experience, they favor more the seller than the buyer.
Even after you have filed the claim with paypal, they would give you the run around saying they would need to look over the claim.
They would rather you close the claim than give you the money so it takes them a long time to resolve it.
Even after you have returned the item to seller, they not only ask for tracking number but also a fax of the scanned shipping slip..but they would only ask for that after again 2 weeks after you submitted the tracking number..meaning they are really trying to delay the claim.
If there si no further document you can provide, they will close the claim in favor of the seller and therefore even after going to all the trouble, you won't get your money back!
