Well, I Must Be a Horses A** ?, I Just Bought Another ...

K20D !!!!

Ya, I love the camera (got it at a great price, Adorama $619.88, shipping included).

I was going to invest in two K-7's but I'll hold off till the next generation, as there are some issues I want cleared up. Being that I never shoot sports, the quick focus or fps does not mean that much to me. I'm not overly fond of the size of the K20D (big), but I'll live with that.

I don't know how much I'll use this camera, it is more of a back up to a back up. If I don't feel the need for it later on, I'll probably sell it, but I don't know, I'll wait till the K-8 comes out.

wll

You know, back in the spring I knew I wouldn't be able to afford the new camera this year. The K7 hadn't been announced yet but it was close and I was afraid of the K20D increasing a bit in price at the end so I bought mine at $690. It's a wonderful camera and I don't really mind it's size. It and the K10D make a great combo and I use them both all the time. $619 is a steal for this camera!

The K20D is a lovely great camera. The ONLY reason i got the K-7 was focus speed. Everything else i like about it is a bonus, such as fps and size. So I agree, if you don't need the speed the K20D does it all.

I'm pretty much in the same place--I decided to get a 2nd K20D this Spring and let others do the beta testing on the K7.

Indeed what WERE you thinking I debated a K7 - saved - read 1,356 reviews, reviewed all the knowledgeable members feedback here - bought another used K20D - can't beat the price / performance.
