Im a bit nervous right now, checked all focus adjustments on my lenses. Dubble checked everything. Thripplechecked forums for advice, others pictures of weddings. Quadroppelchecked that my car is working.

Keep it simple
Don't try to do "PJ" style (Photojournalist)..Not yet...
Go for the Classic Traditional coverage...80% Posed.
Make sure you concentrate on the "MUST HAVE" images during each stage of the Wedding.(Traditional Images that have survived the ages and are still loved by the B&G)!

Bride Getting Ready with Brides Maid and Mom images
Ceremony, including the newly weds leaving the church, then...
All the Wedding Party -- Including the Both sets of parents, from both sides (Start with this group after the ceremony. and scale down to the next ones.
Formal Brides Side With her Parents
Formal Grooms Side With his Parents
Formal of the B/G with both sides of the parents.
Formal of the B/G and the Brides/Grooms attendants.
Reception Events and plenty of candids.

Also, you may want to stage a few shots from the Ceremony that you may have missed or weren't allowed to get..

Anyway...
make sure you have spare bats and SD cards...DON"T PUT THE WHOLE WEDDING ON ONE CARD.....Shoot about up to 50 or so and put in a new card...This way IF...a card should fail...you only lose 50 or so..
SHOOT RAW if are comfortable with developing it...If not, Shoot Raw+JPG as to have a backup file in RAW or JPG.

But above all, Have fun and always think about and search out great angles for images.
You'll need to "Stay On The Move" and think ahead while your are photographing your current image.

Don't allow friends to distract you, acknowledge them, but stay focused.

I know, this is a lot...but it really isn't, once you know what to photograph at each stage of the Wedding..

AND, Yes, you can do a very good job with ONE zoom lens....a lens like a 17-70, or a 24-70. You will have to move in at times, but, it's expected by the photographer.

I noticed you have a 35mm Limited...I have seen great Weddings taken with one lens too....a bit more challenging, but it can be done with great results.

I used a 35mm-105mm (24-70 with Crop Cameras), with a Film camera for many Weddings. My other lens was a 21mm-35mm f/2.8 ATX.

Have a good time, and keep close to the Bride with your camera.

Not much flowertossing here in sweden, and much less formal than what I gather from american style weddings (thank god)

Will use, da 35, da*55, da*50-135 and voigtlander 180.

Good luck and don't let it overwhelm you.

You know what is going to happen during a wedding/reception, just think about where you need to be to get the shots you want and you'll be fine.

Its great that they found eachother after so many years and that her mother could attend the wedding that she had wished for. (96 years old, her brother, age 99 attended the Wedding party at the night )

There are less expensive solutions for low light focusing aids, but I do understand your attraction to the K7

Master manual focusing. Then yuo are truly ready for anything. Even the best of the best of cameras will have trouble at times.
