Looking for someone that can diagnose and fix the grind that has made my SF1 unusable. So far I haven't any luck; from stories of no longer able to get parts and just plain, why fix can get DSLR. I have used and enjoyed my SLR SF1 for years. I have all the original paperwork and 3 lenses that I still want to use with a repaired SF!.

Also if the last is no one can fix it, will my lenses fit a DSLR? Prefer my oldie and have spoke with a couple of SF1 users whose cameras also 'ground to a halt". They can't find any repair person either.

I recently moved from my SF1 to digital and have an SF1 (body only) that I would be willing to sell. Send me an e-mail with an offer and I'll surely part with it.

I am not sure that repairing an SF1 is cost effective. They can be had for very reasonable prices. Probably less than the cost to repair. You can use all your lenses on a Pentax DSLR. You could also use all your lenses on a newer Pentax film body, like a PZ10 or a ZX30. There are many choices available.
