The Inverted Razor Blade

The link below takes you to Nikon guru Thom Hogan's Web site. He posted an editorial on December 24 entitled "The Inverted Razor Blade." It's essentially an open letter to Nikon executives. But it's good advice for all camera makers... and it would be a great way for Pentax to leapfrog over the competition... if only they could/would act quickly enough. Does anyone have the ability to forward this to Ned Bunnell?

I've been saying the same thing for a while now. Open the firmware to developers, and let users add features that they want. Extend it to P-TTL as well and the flashes.

It'll never happen, but it's fun to dream.
