For the Astro Shooters

For those that have tried moon and stationary star shots, you know how hard it is to focus.
I've been using a focus mack for the last year or so. I made my own. But the one on this site is identical. Bahtinov Mask by Focus-Mask

They are easy to make from cardboard or plexiglass.
Be sure to watch the how it works video clip.

Resurrecting this thread. Just learned about the Bahtinov mask as an aid to precise focusing and thought I would search PentaxForums to see if it had been discussed before. It should be used by anybody interested in astrophotography, but I found few mentions.

Thought I would use this thread to add a couple of links on "How to Make a Bahtinov Mask"
