K10D flash in wireless mode - what's the difference

Hi everybody

I've got a small problem understanding the difference between

1 | ON | Built in flash works as master discharge
2 | OFF | Built in flash works as controller discharge

does putting it on off mean that the flash will be fired before the external flash and doesn't affect te taken shot or what do these settings stand for.

(hope this is the correct place to post this)

1 will work in conjuction w/ wirelessly controlled flash (you have to figure in the onboard flash into your shot calcs)

2 will just set off the wirelessly controlled flash w/ the onboard flash not having any effect on the shot.

(used number 2 lots of times..works like a charm)
