Pentax K7 body only $1,139.99 CAD.

Lenses:
Pentax : Broadway Camera!, Your Specialty Camera Store in Vancouver BC, Canada
55-300 is under 400 cad.
I usually find them a bit expensive and never really have any sales but this is a surprise.

Did I miss something?..the 20d is less than the k-7? How can that be?

the K20D was selling for around $900 in February 2009. a year after the K20D was released in 2008 for over $1200. I knew this because that was the time that I was carefully considering of buying a Pentax dslr. the K-7 sustained it's $1,000+ price up until now. although it did fell significantly by dropping $400-$500 off.
who knows, it might fell down to $900 or $700 in May, if Pentax releases a new system on that same month. depends on how good and how expensive the new system would be.

The DA40 is $389 at Broadway Camera ...tempting but I just picked up an excellent A series 35mm f/2.8 this week and so far, I like it.
