Do you guys think it would be safe to buy from here? The amazon price seems quite steep compared to the other market place vendors. I'm trying to be cautious after my dealings with shady shops... thanks!

That is a great price considering its $210 w/o head at Adorama. Your store has good history and ratings at Amazon and ResellerRatings so it wouldnt scare me off from trying for a tripod.
