Excellent article on the behind-the-scenes "life" of photographers and their assistants. Happy to read actual insights instead of the brand name BS you find in many publications. In fact, not a single camera brand was mentioned.

I was quite amused at the fact they can't leave the area whatsoever. They spoke about carrying all necessary equipment and provisions, but they never mentioned what they do about nature calls and whether diapers are involved

from what i read...an photography assistant by olympic commitee standards is still an assistant.
