Does anyone experience this with the K10?

occationally when I use raw, a raw and jpg file will be in the group of files even though I didn't select this option.
not something I want to part with my camera for, but was wondering if anyone else has experience this?

thanks

cheers

It is a remote possibility, but that button is to far out of the way for that to happen.... besides, I have the raw button set so that when you push it, it will stay in the raw+jpg option... when the files are downloaded on the computer, the raw+jpg files are usually in the middle somewhere.

thanks,

cheers

Even if you have the RAW button set to stay in the RAW+jpg, it’s doesn’t stay in that mode for very long, all you have to do is press playback to view a picture and the RAW+jpg mode is cancelled. That’s a bug if you ask me.

I allways shoot RAW and just once (8k exposures already) it happened that I'd had one jpeg file between my RAW files. Most likely I accidentally pushed RAW button.

I've found the reverse.. When shooting just for fun (like at a friend's campsite for the weekend or something) I'll shoot in jpg mode. It's one less step in getting the photos on google for them to view. These are just fun pics with friend's so quality is not very important. Well, 9 times out of ten when I do this I'll find RAW files mixed in with the jpg's.. I'm hitting the button on accident.
