Digi-Scoping - Telescope(s)

I am thinking of buying the Pentax "PF-CA35 K-Mount" which is an eye piece for Pentax spotting scopes to allow for photograhing through the scope...

Pentax PF-CA35 K-Mount SLR Camera Adapter 70510 FREE S&H 70510. Pentax Spotting Scope Accessories.

It appears to be a standard telescope eye piece with a K mount on one end, and since I have a Meade ATX-90, was wondering if anyone ever tried to use this eye piece on a Meade or other brand telescope, and what the results were...

It's important to know that this was designed for use with a spotting scope not an astro scope. In other words you will not get a correct image using it on a conventional astro scope without the prism found in a spotting scope.

Also I think you will have to add 50-60mm of extension to make it come to focus. This would make up for the missing prism.
