I was surfing the web on some photography topics and ran across this. Frommers is having a contest thru 3/31/2010 for cover photos for their travel books and offering a $5,000 prize, along with a number of runner up prizes.

I am sure that there is the combination of talent, skill, technique, opportunity along with location, folks here on the Pentax Forum are capable putting forth some pretty amazing imagery.

The residency conditions for entry aren't to my liking - It looks like Frommer's has no love for people actually living in the South. . .or the East of the planet they want you to travel.

It's all the funnier given that the competition is sponsored by newzealand.com
