Did you find someone Peter? I have an Epson 4490 that does a decent job of scanning transparencies and slides. I would like to offer my help as well. Since getting my K100D I haven't used the scanner much. And I'm retired so I have plenty of free time on my hands.

Thanks PL. I have one (pbo) who offered and sent that on to Hillerby. He emailed me back to say he's undecided and looking hard at the cost of a scanner. He may take the plunge himslef. I think to avoid any further confusion until he decides what to do, I'll close the thread. Of course anyone can PM me if they want to.
