screw mount

I had, at one time, two slr screw mount film Pentaxes, with a large assortment of pentax lenses which were stolen, so with the insurance money I bought a new Pentax MX, which now sits in a closet with all its lenses and a few rolls of film in the fridge, don't even knoe if anyone prints them anymore!!

I seem to have voted for almost all categories. I seem to be a Pentax junkie.

I am sorry I have missed the AF bodies. I jumped from MX/LX to K10D over a third party cheap digital p&s.
Not owning any 645/67 body I do use their lenses a lot, all manual of course.

Hey, 110 film has a place... someplace? Everyone want a laugh? I recently moved, kept all my film gear bodies, KM lenses, screw lenses,Macro rails, spot meters etc. in a large deep five drawered tool chest in my office. We get to the new house and the thing is locked, it's NEVER been locked. Oh yeh and I believe the key is in it ! Well, here I sit with all that stuff as well as my medium format gear in that stinkin' tool box. It uses one of those rotary lock sets like vending machines and has no exposed bolt heads and is gasketed to protect from dust!At least all my digital gear and Q flash was in my go bags! My wife keeps saying she has seen a key like that and we will find it. Anyone good at breaking into vending machines?

Almost a little of everything. My screwmount gear has been somewhere in a moldy basement 650 miles away for more than 35 years, so I did not think I should really count that.
Should fit into the "Fungus Ridden Lenses" category.

After seeing this I know of two companies who are glad to see Pentax continue with just a limited number of lenses in their lineup... Tamron and Sigma.

There's not much depth to this data but it would be interesting to see the lens data for respondents (like me) who only use DSLR bodies.

I don't see how you can make a statement like that. Furthermore, Tammy and Siggy don't have all that extensive of a current line-up for Pentax although Sigma is paying more attention to Pentax on newer lenses.

I see my LBA has gotten a bit out of hand. Thanks for pointing that out.

The same company features 40+ years of lens backwards-compatibility. Take that, Sigma tongue

Also, regarding the depth of this data, it's quite interesting to compare the results of this survey to the other two, to see how the gear-acquisition trend has changed! The other two installments can be found in the similar threads box below
