I noticed that NFL postgame interviews have the RICOH logo interspersed in the background along with the respective team logo. It sure makes me feel confident that the Pentax brand will be in good hands.

Indeed, but not everyone will instantly relate Ricoh to Pentax.

I think the assumption is that Ricoh will put the Pentax name on prominent display also.

I did, for a couple weeks after the takeover announcement. In my .sig was the line:

* RioRicoh -- the user formerly known as Pentaxio Smurf *

I guess you missed that. Sorry.
