Veeeeeery nice. I've been to South Luangwa twice and loved it on both visits. It's a great place with lots of wildlife, and I'm sure Kerrick James' presence will make it a great experience. My second trip to the NP was also in the company of a professional wildlife photographer (David Rogers from South Africa), and it was one of finest weeks of my life!!

The group looks a bit large though (24 px!), but I expect they will spread them in not too few vehicles. My first visit we were 9 per vehicle which was too much for photography really. The second time two years later it was David and just 5 photographers and lots and lots of time for everyone to get the best pictures. It's one of my dreams to repeat this trip, but prices have gone up considerably in the 6 years since I was there...

Still, I hope one day to take a DA560/5.6 to South Luangwa!

Wim

Love the list of animals... Lions, tigers.... WTF? Tigers in Africa???

Maybe they supply some narcotics included in the price? Then you can see any animal you like...

I sent an email to them just letting them know that tigers are found in Asia, you know the large continent several thousand miles further north and generally east of South Luanga NP.... )

Well, it'd be the perfect situation to get sample shots to present for that lens

Wow, Ricoh is doing the right stuff. Great place to show off the 560 and the 645D plus the K-01 example if you are in a jeep and take video when you roll.

Bug..r the pentax promotion. I have just paid my deposit for this African photographic safari. Pangolin Photo Safaris

Threes days of mixing it with African wildlife with their cameras and lenses in specially modified boats and trucks. I am not sure if I will use the Nikon and sigma lenses provided or my own kit.

First time I have ever been this extravagant with a trip

I'm sure at least 1 prototype (560mm) for Kerrick to use (and maybe share). They'd be stupid to pass up the opportunity for such an anticipated lens.
