Good, but let's hope they continue stocking it until the end of the camera's life cycle.

I haven't been in Bloomingdales in ages, do they even have an appropriate department? So many of the big department stores have killed of anything to do with electronics/majorappliances

Too bad they didn't put them in the Bloomingdales in Orlando. Why? The Europeans come to Orlando/Disney in droves and shop in the outlet stores around "Millenium". Bloomingdale's has a store there, although it's not an outlet store. Dunno why Orlando keeps getting ignored. Maybe Pentax and Disney hate each other.

Bloomies like just looked at the sales histories for the store and made the decision that way. quite possibly it was a bad decision, but then retailers make those daily

Nice, and Bloomingdale's is an ideal outlet for this camera too. While all the photo geeks on the net find things to gripe about on this camera, the client for this camera is likely a Bloomies client as well. Mark Newson actually holds value in that market

IT was obvious when it released, all the photo sites basically found lots to bitch about particularly the design, but the fashion and design sites all loved it
