Interesting review...
Wonder what you mean by "a small tripod can, not the monster PF normally uses for reviews"...
How big is a Manfrotto 160 series cosidered?

The only problem with a backpack bag is the more you can fit in it, the more you will take with you whether you need it or not. Consequently, more weight.

Any idea the difference between this one and the Advanced Active Backpack I? They look the same, but the 1 is $20 less plus a $20 rebate at B&H.

Edit: never mind; the 1 is slightly smaller.

The ideal Pentax camera bag would have a secret pocket in which we would find an FA 31, 43 and 77. Sigh.

You can buy this complete set without problems. But the bag would be a little bit more expensive...

Too much in one area for me!

Sorry, this way of carrying my equipment just does not appeal to me. But appreciate what appeals to others as today being retired and Iliving in vaccum of sorts, various ideas always get my juices flowing!

Yeah... it's strange...
But it's more a backpack with a separate photo section than a photo-oriented backpack...
It could be ok to have when you go trekking (as I like to do quite often), and you need to bring water, food, clothes...

Good point! I try to take as little equipment as possible but if I have a pack I usually fail

...as long as it's not a bag of devouring or a bag of transmuting in disguise...
Imagine putting inside it an FA77...
