OK, I can understand that "K" is for "Kaiser" to suit the German connection, but the only Japanese word starting with "K" that I know is "Kamikaze".

(Yeah, I know: the Japanese don't use the Roman alphabet…)

"Divine wind" I believe is the translation.

Oh, yes: I should have remembered from QMS days "kaizen", too. Probably more acceptable …
