Didn't affect pricing in Hungary yet, pricing from 413€ (body only) up to 700€ with SMC DA 18-135mm WR lens. There will be some time I'd say before it gets to the list of items on sale at reduced price. Probably next year.

I thought it had been discontinued months ago, replaced by the K-S2.

I really hope the new K-70 has inherited the aperture stop-down mechanism from the K-S2 rather than the K-30 and K-50. Letting that poor design/construction into a third model would be shameful.

Time will tell. I hope that after all the complaints about the K-30 and K-50 they have found and fixed the part or design aspect that causes the problem. I haven't seen any reports of the aperture stop-down mechanism failing in the K-S cameras.

These are newer and less numerous, though. There has been a post about a K-S2. I drowned and wrote off my K-S1 because it needed both a new shutter and aperture block, but that shouldn't count.

Much in the K-S1 and K-S2 is from the K-30/50. I wouldn't automatically assume that part was different.
