That's why I raised the point about the KFA-4 mount. It should make it easier to support K-mount as no mechanical linkage to the aperture will be required anymore.
In general, I think there are many similarities between the mounts and even supporting mechanical variants of the K-mount probably was not that hard when Nikon lenses still also required a similar approach. However, we need not debate about this point because of the existence of the KFA-4 mount.

I realise that. I'd very much appreciate support for K-mount, even if it is limited to those eight lenses, a subset that will probably grow in the future, right?
