Is the 2019 Telephoto Lens on the roadmap possibly iterating a replacement for the now existing Pentax 150-450? Also, if so, would it be both FF and aps-c compatible?

You may not know, but if there is any general indication it will be a 150-450 replacement, please let me know.

My understanding is that it will be a consumer-level alternative. After all, a cheap-ish/compact FF tele zoom is currently missing from the lineup.

Probably a 70-300 variable aperture zoom.

What I am looking for is the best telephoto zoom Pentax has in 150-450/500 range. If it is the current 150-450 I would consider it now and not look forward to an advanced type replacement in the line up.

Thank you Rondec. The information helps me with my telephoto upgrade decision making. As I said I am looking at the Pentax 150-450. It would replace my Sigma 150-500.
