What lens will replace this lens in the catalog once the stock clears (and what camera will the replacement lens be designed for)?

IMHO this range of lenses - the optical design going back to the original SMC - is awfully good and sharp for a consumer-priced tele zoom. In good light the colors are bright and vibrant. Really nice lens for the money and outstanding at this price!
