Ricoh Releases SDKs for Pentax DSLRs

Write desktop and mobile apps for Pentax DSLRs using newly-released SDKs from Ricoh.

This is very cool! I hope folks that can will make some cool stuff. I also wonder if this is an attempt to gauge the enthusiasm of their user base?

I think with some degree this s disrespect for people who still use K-3 or K3II i presume a lot forum member still use and will continuous useK3
not include this K3 to list SDK big mistake

Agree but is the K3/5 not nearing its end of life cycle?

Don't confuse having limited resources with disrespect.
From what I see, they're supporting cameras that already work with Image Transmitter 2 and Image Sync.

I still use a K5, works great.
It just does not support the latest WiFi and stuff.
Can`t comment on the K3, never considered getting one.
