That's a good survey. IMO reflect what I could observe. Interestingly, according to this survey, Astro isn't significant use case. If I read correctly, Pentaxians want enhancements on general purpose features such as AF. Also, as the survey show, the demand for prime lens around 77 - 85ish focal length is one of the most wanted. Most wanted firmware improvement, things like electronic shutter, and exposure time > 30s don't seem to be big technological challenges. About half of the users are using a K3 (planning a next lens purchase for it). Looks like the next logical step for Pentax would be to release a new apsc flagship with significant improvement on AF, additional software features, and roll out of primes for the K1, with 85 f/1.4 coming first.

There are definitely a lot of users waiting for that K-3II replacement. A lot of users are also hoping for better AF performance. I guess we'll see what the engineers at Ricoh/Pentax come up with in the next APS-C flagship. I have a feeling that it's going to be pretty awesome.

Can the answers be read somewhere without beeing cut?
Especially the firmware enhancement sentences are lost in the small graphics.
